Online

challenges

2022-2023

In addition to our in-person challenge presentations, we now have monthly online-only challenges.

In October the winner of the challenge "Colors of Fall" became Dave Gordon ("Autumn" watercolors on paper)

In November the winner of the challenge "Architecture" became Lance Rosol ("Roots", photography)

In December there were no winners, challenge was cancelled.

No challenges for January and February.

In March - the winner is Roger Bushnell with 42 votes. ("Spring Day", photography"

In April - the winner is Elena Adam with 16 votes ("Time to Go Home", colored pencils and white marker on paper)

In May - the winnerr is Marie Louria with 51 votes ("Magic Iris", watercolors)

For June, participating artists may send one entry (jpg) by email. The piece can be a creation from any year of your art life — there is no time limit. This is a great way to share our earliest art and the stories behind it. We will vote only by "liking" the images on the website.

Theme of each month will be announced at the beginning of the month. Entries are accepted by the 20th day of each month. We can take a moment to share the results at our general meetings, and participants receive one point for participation. There are no extra points for winning places or favorites, but the winner does get to name the theme for the next month's online-challenge (besides bragging rights)!

The theme for June:

"Wild Life"

Accepting entries.

Please email (or private message via FB messenger) your entry as a jpeg/jpg by 20th of each month

to Elena. In the body of your email, be sure to write a brief description (the media used, when it was created, etc.) and a short story behind the piece.
